  • Year 4 Visit to Morrisons

    Week beginning the 12th November the Year 4 children visited Morrisons in Market Drayton.

     

    As part of their geography theme on ‘Food For Thought’ the children were given the opportunity to investigate and explore the origins of food which are linked to packaging.

     

    Subsequently, the children are going to design their own pizzas by making choices that will reduce carbon footprints and food miles.

  • Year 5 Visit to Keele University Observatory

    Sat 10 Nov 2018

    On Friday 9th November the children had the opportunity to visit Keele University Observatory as part of their Science topic ‘The Earth and Beyond’. The visit included activities based on: planets, seasons, the Moon, constellations, day and night and our Solar System.

     

    The children really enjoyed developing their knowledge and understanding of the Solar System.

  • Hoola Nation Workshops

    Fri 09 Nov 2018

    Recently, the whole school participated in a Hoola Hoop workshop. It was a great opportunity for the whole school to get involved and learn new skills, new tricks and fun hoola hooping routines they will never forget.

     

    The children thoroughly enjoyed their experiences with the Hoola Hoop and the school would like to thank the coach, Sasha, and Mrs Taylor for organising the workshops.
