  • SUMO morning

    Fri 11 Apr 2014
On Friday 11th April we held our fourth SUMO morning. The theme of this one was ‘Remember the Beachball’. This involved looking at what influences how we see a ‘beachball’, for example, our age, values, personality and our mood. Before leading on to us understanding that we all look at events from a different point of view and that is okay that we don’t all have the same perspective.

Thank you very much to Mrs Saunders for leading our assembly and inspiring us to all listen to other people’s points of view.

  • Easter at Market Drayton Junior School

    Tue 01 Apr 2014
On Tuesday 1st April the school attended an Easter assembly at Market Drayton Methodist Church. After several weeks of working hard on our Easter songs it was exciting to be able to sing them altogether whilst remembering the significance of the Easter story.  Our upper school choir beautifully performed two songs including some wonderful solo verses. Thanks must go to Rev. Baker for welcoming us to the church and helping us to understand both the sad and happy events of Easter week. Happy Easter everyone!
