• Cross County Competition

  On Thursday 12th October 42 children, a mixture of boys and girls, from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in the KS2 level 2 cross country event at the Grove School. The total distance for years 3 and 4 was approximately 800m and for year 5 and 6 the approximate distance was 1200m. All of the children represented our school brilliantly and demonstrated fantastic running skills in all races. The top 6 children from each race qualify for the next round to be held in February and we wish them all the best at this competition. These children are:

   

  Jessica SB - year 3 - position 6th

  Jack H - year 4 - position 4th

  Jamie SB - year 5 - position 1st

  Lily W - year 5 - position 2nd

  Chloe J - year 6 - position 5^th
