Kooth

Free, safe and anonymous online mental health and emotional well-being support for children and young people. Kooth offer peer support, self-help and trained counsellors to talk to.

Kooth provides one to one and group support via a social platform for children and young people aged 10+. This is similar to a messenger or chat room service. There are strict rules and confidentiality policies in place to protect children and young people who use the service. A trained specialist is on hand to answer questions and support user’s as well as monitoring all chat sessions.

Crossroads Together

Who is a young carer? A young carer is someone under 18 who helps look after someone in their family, or a friend, who is ill, disabled, has mental health issues or misuses drugs or alcohol.

We can help by giving you:

Time away, the chance to meet other young carers, taking part in peer support, go on day trips, support in school and with homework, learn new skills, someone to listen and a place to talk, information and funding
