At Market Drayton Junior School we try to offer a variety of extra-curricular clubs. They offer the chance to participate in fun, energetic and creative activities. Remember children can receive stamps in their passports for attending clubs.
This football club covers a wide range of skills, including; passing, dribbling, control, shooting and match related drills. These sessions are slightly more detailed than football in PE lessons and end with small-sided matches, so that the children can put into practice what they have learnt.
Year 3/6 Tuesdays
This club will cover all basic and more advanced techniques, including; passing, dribbling, control, technique, skills and shooting, with advanced practices. Sessions will also include match related drills to improve the players understanding of formations, movement and communication. These drills are then progressed into small-sided games, allowing the children to put into practice what they have learnt.
