ActivSports Football Club
Year 4/5 Mondays
This football club covers a wide range of skills, including; passing, dribbling, control, shooting and match related drills. These sessions are slightly more detailed than football in PE lessons and end with small-sided matches, so that the children can put into practice what they have learnt.
Year 3/6 Tuesdays
This club will cover all basic and more advanced techniques, including; passing, dribbling, control, technique, skills and shooting, with advanced practices. Sessions will also include match related drills to improve the players understanding of formations, movement and communication. These drills are then progressed into small-sided games, allowing the children to put into practice what they have learnt.
ActivSports Multi-sports
Activsports run multi-sports after school clubs on Wednesdays for year 3 and 4 and Fridays for year 5 and 6. The aim of the club is to introduce new sports to children that may or may not have played before. Each session addresses many of the sports fundamentals that we would like to see children develop more than being placed into single sported environments at such young and influential ages.
Activsports cover many sports such as football, rugby, basketball, hockey, tennis, dodgeball etc. playing a different sport each week.
All sessions are run by fully qualified sports coaches who have worked in various sporting fields and gained a wide range of qualifications. Each coach has an enhanced CRB check along with a recognised Child Protection Training and First Aid qualification.
