  • Reading at home

    Thu 17 Nov 2016

Many thanks to all the parents who attended the Reading at Home meetings today. We really appreciate the support parents give to children in helping them with their reading and Miss Kynaston demonstrated how to make this process even more effective through careful questioning.

A copy of the questions shown during the meeting are listed below and can also be found under Curriculum / English.

Thank you very much to Miss Kynaston for leading the meetings in such an informative and entertaining manner. In addition, the school would like to thank the children who participated in the video sessions for their help.

  • Update on Stranger Danger

    Fri 04 Nov 2016 Admin

Further to the suspicious incidents in the Oswestry area before half term, there is an indication of further suspicious activity this week. Our Crime Prevention Officer has asked us to advise you once again that students should not walk to/from school completely alone. This is particularly relevant during quieter periods, such as when students arrive late in a morning or have attended an after-school club.

I have personally spoken to each class again today, to remind them about Stranger Danger and would encourage you to reinforce this at home.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
