The three year 4 classes have visited Park Hill Farm on Tuesday 22^nd, Thursday 24^th or Friday 25^th September as part of their Food for Thought topic.

 

During the trip they explored the farm and learnt about the food the farm produces. Undertook a mini habitat walk and learnt to identify many common trees. In addition, they located the countries of food origin from packaging using atlases.

The children really enjoyed the experience and have definitely increased their knowledge of where the food they eat comes from. They will build on from this experience by discovering ways of reducing their carbon footprint.
