On Wednesday 21^st May the Under 11 football team travelled to Shrewsbury to take part in the World Cup. Our school was representing Uruguay and we played three games, against Ghana (Greenfields), Japan (Prees) and Russia (Mereside). Drayton drew their matches 0-0 in three closely matched games. The boys played really well, even though they didn’t achieve enough points to go through to the later stages of the competition.
