On Tuesday 16^th December the school was very excited to host its own Bake-Off competition. Organised by Mrs Hopley, who earlier in the year had won the Shropshire Bake-Off competition, we had 55 entries, which included: sponge cakes, biscuits, cupcakes or the show stopper event.

 

The judging panel, made up of: Mr Hayward, Mrs Healey (head of our school kitchen), Robert Swift, (Swift’s Bakery, Ludlow), Julie Aoted (Shropshire RCC), Brenda Smith (Shropshire Carers), Sophie Peach (Shrewsbury Bookfest), Liz Watkiss (Trainee teacher) and Mrs Hopley, were very impressed by the high standard of the entries.

 

Congratulations to all the children and adults who took part and well done to the 12 category winners.
