On 5th June Peak Pursuits visited the school with their mobile climbing wall and high ropes course. All  the children in Year 3 and 5 had an opportunity to attempt these adventurous activities and in the process develop their self confidence in tackling new challenges.

The day was funded through use of our Sports Funding. This is a grant we have received spread over two years to encourage children to be more active and try new sports and outdoor activities. Although Year 4 and 6 children have had an opportunity to try similar challenges on this year's residential trips a number of them stayed after school to make use of the equipment. We even had some younger brother and sisters join us from the Infant School. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event and hopefully we shall be able to repeat it in the future.
