On Friday 7th April the School Council held a non-uniform day to raise money for the Market Drayton Mecap Society. The charity provides a wide range of social activities for adults with learning difficulties, their carers and families.

 

One of our long serving-reading volunteers spends a considerable amount of time at the Market Drayton Centre and the children decided they wanted to repay his kindness by fund raising for them.

 

The children wore their own clothes and donated £1 towards the charity. Thank you very much to the children and their families for supporting the Market Drayton Mencap Society as they managed to raise £336, which will be presented to Mencap after the Easter holidays.
