On Monday 10th March we were visited by the group  ‘Key Strings’ - a music workshop we always eagerly look forward to!  This year’s theme, The Beatles, was both entertaining and informative.  Pupils were reminded of technical vocabulary such as timbre, pitch, texture and duration. 

Some lucky children had the opportunity to play instruments along to tracks such as ‘Love Me Do’ and ‘Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band’.  Our school has some budding rock stars set to revive ‘Beatle Mania’!  A huge thank you to Mrs Wakelin for organising the visit, so that we could ‘Imagine’ ourselves as 1960s musicians!
