Amazing Anglesey Adventure
On May 14th 76 children and 10 adults loaded their luggage on to two coaches from Lakeside and set off on their Anglesey Adventure. During their visit the children worked collaboratively with an artist to create a sculpture (soon to be displayed at school). In addition, the children experienced the following outdoor activities: zipwiring; the challenge of team work to complete a low ropes course; bushcraft where they learnt how to build shelters and create a fire; pond dipping and beach combing; working together to complete the nightline; orienteering and canoeing on the Menai Straits.
All the children and the adults accompanying them had an amazing time, mainly thanks to the centres activity leaders. Well done to everyone who went on the trip and the school would like to say a big thank you to all the adults who went on the visit, particularly all the volunteers who were brilliant.
