• Macmillan Coffee Morning

  This year the School Council have been busy organising various events for both the school community and the wider community at large. In September we held our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning in aid of the Macmillan nurses who do such sterling work for families who are often at such a low ebb. The coffee morning was held in a bunting strewn school library, with children from the School Council serving the customers, and taking on roles of responsibility. During the morning we were able to raise £160.

  

• Market Drayton in Bloom

  In September we were advised by Market Drayton Town Council that the school had been chosen as the winner in the 'Best School' category of the 2017 Market Drayton in Bloom Competition.

   

  This is the 7th consecutive year that the school has received this accolade, which is down to the dedication and hard work of Mr Boughey and his gardening club members. A huge congratulations to them, for this remarkable achievement.

   

  A presentation ceremony was held at the Royal British Legion Club in Market Drayton on 13th September.
