  Market Drayton Cricket Club have asked for our help in promoting their application for a new practice net area. They need as many people as possible to log on the following site and vote for their application:

  Our school benefits from using the facilities at the cricket club and the club is really trying to promote youth cricket. By developing their facilities, it stands to benefit the whole town. Please vote for them.

• Stranger Danger

  Shropshire Council has made us aware of a recent suspicious incident in the Oswestry area whereby a child was approached by a person unknown to them. We have spoken to the children in assembly about 'Stranger Danger' and we would be grateful if you could reinforce this at home over the half term holiday. Thank you.

• Macmillan Coffee Morning

  On Thursday September 29^th, Market Drayton Junior School held our Macmillan Coffee Morning. The School Council were on hand to help serve the cakes and biscuits to all those who attended the event.

   

  At break time cakes and biscuits were on sale for the children to buy, ensuring that they did not miss out on this treat! The total raised for the event was £128!

   

  Many thanks to all those who kindly donated cakes and biscuits and especially to Mrs. Parsons and Mrs. Woods who made the whole event possible by giving up their time to help and organise our pop up café.
