During the month of March the Eco-Warriors raised our awareness of waste. The main focus was to reduce the amount of plastic waste we needed to dispose of. As part of this all the children took part in Bling a Bottle, where they recycled a plastic bottle and made it into something creative. Mrs Saunders’ class made the amazing Jellyfish that is hanging up in our school entrance.

In addition on Friday 14th March we held a Waste Free Picnic on the field. The weather was very kind to us and we managed to hold the entire event outside. Thank you very much to our kitchen staff for providing the children with a waste free picnic. The children also made pledges to help reduce waste in our school.
