This year’s annual Robert Spiers Football Tournament took place on the morning of Friday 19^th June.

 

The children worked in house teams to compete for the privilege of winning the Robert Spiers trophy. Four girls teams and eight boys teams participated in the event.

 

In the girl’s competition Kites won two of their three matches to win the title.

 

In the boy’s competition Kites 1 won all three of their games in the league stage and Eagles 2 won 2 games and drew 1 to go through to the final match.

 

Kites closely won the tournament with a 1-0 win over Eagles.

 

Congratulations to all the children who participated during the event; the rest of the school for cheering the teams on. In addition, many thanks to Mr Richards for organising the fixtures and for referring along with Mr Eardley.
