On Friday 5^th December the children took part in our ‘Number Day’, as part of the NSPCC’s national fundraising campaign. Mr Moore organised the day to raise the profile of mathematics across the school. Children were invited to come into school in non-uniform, wearing significant numbers on their tops, in exchange for a £1 donation.

 

During their maths lessons on the day the children were asked to talk about the numbers on their tops and what significance they held for them.  Thanks to all the children who took part for their effort and contributions; we managed to raise £277.50 on the day.
