The cost of a school meal is currently £2.30. Our preferred method of payment is via the Arbor Parent Portal, which provides a cashless payment function, using a debit card. Please see our Arbor Parent Portal page for further details.
Don't forget, the Universal Free School Meal scheme ends at KS1. Meals become chargeable from KS2, unless your child is eligible for Free School Meals. To check your eligibility or make an application for Free School Meals please visit the Shropshire Council Free School Meals webpage https://www.shropshire.gov.uk/free-school-meals/. The school will be automatically notified of any successful applications.
From 13th December 2014, the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulations came into force. These European Rules will be enforced in the UK by the Food Information regulations 2014.
The EU lists 14 allergens that need to be identified if they are used as ingredients in a dish. This means that food business will now need to provide information about allergenic ingredients used in foods sold or provided by them.
Details of allergens for each Shire Services’ recipe are listed in their allergy guidance packs. They cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and dairy free diets.
We strongly recommend that any parents of pupils with allergies or intolerances contact the school kitchen to arrange a meeting to discuss their specific requirements.
