In mid-January, year five were visited by two brothers – Rory and Finn McCann. Rory is a talented artist and Finn is a climber and all round adventurer! Both play the ukulele and entertained us at various points in the day.

 

They shared their experiences focusing on HOW they have achieved such amazing challenges. The key to achieving was their passion and inspiration, experiencing success via failure and setting themselves challenges (often in small steps).

 

During the day we explored many values, including that of teamwork, through enjoyable activities and games as well as through discussion.

 

We had the opportunity to explore our own passions and those people who have inspired us so far in life. In addition, we identified those values which we would like to work on in order to enhance or lives.
