Sports Day 2014
This year’s annual sports day began with the Kevin Mann Race. A true test of stamina with the children participating in a distance run in pursuit of individual glory. Congratulations to all the children who took part in these very exciting races as well as the four boys and four girls who won each age group.

All the children competed in field events such as: the javelin, tennis ball throw, kilogram ball throw, speed jumps and the standing long jump. As well as track events such as: the 60, 200 and 400 metre sprints; skipping, bean bag challenge, the obstacle race, the dribble slalom and relays.

All the children are to be congratulated on their perseverance and determination to succeed. The school would like to say a big thank you to Mr Richards and Mrs Taylor for organising such a successful day of sport. In addition, thanks to all the adults who ran the events and made the day run so smoothly.
Finally, last but not least thank you very much to all the parents who kindly supported the children’s endeavours and cheered all the competitors on.
